Provider Directory Data Quality
Overview
The Provider Directory Data Quality dashboard is a tool for enabling data quality of Provider 360 records. Provider 360 feeds several business functions that rely on clean data. This dashboard provides critical data elements to ensure the completeness of provider data for operational use.
Metrics Overview
NPI (National Provider Identifier): A unique national identification number for health care providers. NPIs are ten characters long and only include numerical characters.
Specialty: A value indicating what field of medicine a health care professional has received additional education to make them a specialist in a certain field.
Practice Type: A value indicating what type of medicine a health care professional practices at Sanitas. Some examples of practice types in the directory include: virtual care, urgent care, specialist, primary care, medical director, preceptor, pediatric care, nutrition management, home health care, diagnostic and imaging, behavioral health, and administrative.
Credential Suffix: Letters that appear after a health care professional's name and denote what credentials the provider has. Some examples include APRN, CNP, DO, DPM, MD, and RD.
Panel Qualified: Primary care providers who are either an Employee or Resident are considered qualified for panel assignment.
Visit Type: A value indicating the EMR appointment types that make-up the provider's agenda.
Tabs Overview
KPIs
Click any blue nubmer to open a provider directory listing for that number. In addition to the regular filter pane, right-click on any blue number and chose "Select" to filter the entire dashboard to that criterion
Identifiers
This tab provides all the identifiers recorded in Provider 360 for each provider, such as DEA license, Primary license, CAQH, PECOS, Payer IDs by state, etc.
Visit Types
This tab provides all the EMR appointment types that make-up the provider's agenda. Clean visit types data is imperative to online booking enablement. The first half of this tab provides critical data elements by visit type and practice type that can be used to focus the list below so data analysts can quickly see which records may require adjustments.
Care Teams
There are two sections of this tab. The first half shows the types of providers assigned to each care team for each location, so data analysts can quickly identify where the teams are out of balance. The second half includes the provider information including their attributed panels for that location. The export table can be filtered by clicking on a grouping of interest on the load balancing table.
HAOU
Healthcare Analysis & Optimization Unit: This tab provides the HAOU a view of the providers under the Regional and Medical Directors.
Facilities
This tab provides all the critical data elements for locations recorded in Provider 360. Like the other tabs, the KPIs can be clicked on to filter/focus the export table.
